This happens to organizations where their blind spots are hiding opportunities to do better and to improve. Some orgs are not as open to innovation as they should be. Some leaders make themselves the only contributors to product strategy and some encourage such insane politics that they miss out on relevant and valuable contributions from staff that don’t make it to the top of the political game. The list goes on…

It is important to constantly evaluate your true capacity as an organization. The fact that you are generating revenue does not mean that you are doing so at full capacity. Assess the opportunities you find and plug those holes so you can do better and be better as an organization.
