A few years ago, I was super excited about our USP in our pilot market. As I talked shop with my dad, I told him excitedly that We were poised for great success.
He said “take it easy and calm down…” He further explained saying: “You have to think properly about scale and plan for it”
The ability to scale as an organization begs desperately for innovation. Most companies throw man power at their need to scale and for the most part it “appears” to work. A common path organizations resort to is having to perform heavy technical integrations for every single deal which kills their ability to be nimble.
Here is the problem with that… it’s only a matter of time before more nimble competitors catch up with and take over the market. A LOT of large organizations will continue to see that happen until they put some innovative focus on how they scale.
How quickly you can grow your business demands innovative focus. You should be as nimble as possible and it is not always about man power. Think about it…
